Still horse-crazy after all these years,
I express my thoughts and emotions through the two greatest passions of my life: painting and horses. I paint my unique version of contemporary disruptive realism, usually in the form of the horses to which I am inextricably, joyfully, and gratefully connected. With every mark I make, I feel my hand on the warm, silky coat and the steady heart beating with love.

I depict emotions and the movement of airnergy — what I call the energy in the air around the form— with loose, bold color and heavily gesso’d texture, or textra.
